This is Us

Just a small town girl out of Waxahachie, Texas that loves a good DIY project!! Ever since I was a young girl, I have always had this crafty nature about me...from beads, to yarn and scrapbooking and everything in between....it’s in my blood!!! As I grew my creative side only got bigger and there was no holding back. Little did I know this was all part of my journey that lead me to designing and illustrating.  Years ago, I was just having fun creating sidewalk chalk drawings where I would strategically place my kids to be part of the image. I loved creating them, and the more I created them the more I enjoyed it.  After realizing the sidewalk wasn't enough for my frequent drawings, I had my husband install a huge chalkboard wall in the kitchen. We aren't talking about your average chalkboard, we are talking floor to ceiling taking up an entire wall, mural drawing kind of chalkboard. My creations and learning various forms of art have only excelled from there. From then I started reading books and taking numerous online classes and tutorials on hand lettering. During the time researching and learning, I was able to learn the graphic side of things.  This lead me wanting to create even more unique products using Professional Grade Dyes and bleaching. The possibilities are endless as we continue learning new techniques.  You are never to old to learn something new and I have enjoyed every minute of getting in touch with my inner artist.
